Wireless Door Lock Tuner Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The door control receiver receives signals from the transmitter and sends these signals to the main body ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1.	CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER)

(a) Disconnect the H3 main body ECU connector and the O25 door control receiver connector.

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
H3-12 (RDA) - O25-2 (RDA)	Always	Below 1 Ω
H3-12 (RDA) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
H3-10 (PRG) - O25-3 (PRG)	Always	Below 1 Ω
H3-10 (PRG) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

(b) Reconnect the main body ECU connector and the door control receiver connector.

2.	CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY, BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the O25 door control receiver connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
O25-1 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

Standard Voltage:

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
O25-5 (+B) - Body ground	Always	11 to 14 V

3.	REPLACE DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER

(a) Replace the door control receiver with a normal one .

HINT:

If a normally functioning door control receiver is available, connect it and check if the wireless door lock function is normal or DTCs are output. If the alternative receiver functions normally, replace the original door control receiver.

4.	REGISTER RECOGNITION CODE

(a) Perform the registration procedures .

CLEAR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs .

6.	CONFIRM DTC

(a) Check if the same DTC is detected.

HINT:

Reinstall the sensors, connectors, etc. and restore the previous vehicle conditions before rechecking for DTCs.

OK:

DTC is not output.
